- 14 or fewer days before your appointment: $165 – $180
Rescheduling your GMAT appointment becomes more expensive as your test date approaches. While paying an additional $55–$180 on top of your test fee isn’t ideal, rescheduling is sometimes the smartest move.
You should consider rescheduling your GMAT if:
- You can no longer make it to your original appointment, or
- It becomes clear that you’re not fully prepared for the GMAT.
It’s common to schedule the GMAT months in advance and then realize, as the date gets closer, that you’re not as prepared as you thought you’d be.

If you’re getting close to that limit, don’t waste an attempt simply because you don’t want to pay the rescheduling fee. In many cases, paying the fee and giving yourself additional study time is the better investment.

You should consider canceling your GMAT appointment if:

For example, you may realize that you’re much farther from your target score than expected and have no clear idea when you’ll be ready to test. In that case, repeatedly rescheduling can become both costly and frustrating. Canceling your appointment and returning when you have a more realistic timeline may be the better option.

Sending Additional GMAT Score Reports to MBA Programs
Cost: $35 for each additional score report.
Once you receive your official score report in your mba.com account, you have 48 hours to send your scores to up to five schools at no additional cost. This service is included in your GMAT test fee.
After that 48-hour window closes, you can send your scores to graduate programs anytime, but each report costs $35.
There are several circumstances in which you may find yourself sending additional GMAT score reports. For example:
- Your target schools may change after you take the exam.
- You decide to apply to more than five programs.
- You add additional schools to your target list later in the application cycle.
